gimme, gimme more.

Working at a hotel, I have guests who are constantly getting coffee or tea, no matter the time of day. This morning I noticed a gentleman getting his coffee. He filled it to the very top, still needing to add his cream and sugar. As I watched him skillfully drag his feet across the breakfast area to his table, trying to avoid a spill, I wondered if it was worth the extra few sips of coffee. This was obviously not his first rodeo. I can't help but wonder why he filled it up so full, twice. The coffee is free and guests are welcome to as many cups as they'd like, until it all runs out and they have to wait for us to brew more.
